What MyPuja Is

MyPuja is a personal spiritual practice app that provides:

• A customizable Photo Carousel where you can display your own images
• Curated wisdom quotes from multiple spiritual traditions
• Access to guided meditations and teachings
• A meditation Timer widget to support your practice
• Music integration with Apple Music and Spotify (in development)
• Optional Apple Health integration to log Mindful Minutes
• Tools to organize your personal practice

MyPuja is a labor of love. We work hard to keep it running smoothly, though like any app, occasional hiccups may happen. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Your Use of MyPuja

You may use MyPuja for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security features
• Redistribute or resell the app or its content
• Scrape or download content in bulk for commercial use

Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content: You own all photos, custom quotes, and personal content you add to MyPuja. We never access, view, or claim ownership of your content.

Our Content: The curated quotes, app design, and interface are owned by MyPuja or licensed from their respective copyright holders. All quotes are attributed to their original authors/teachers.

Meditations: Streamed meditations and teachings are sourced from publicly available recordings. We honor the tradition of making wisdom teachings freely accessible.

Data & Privacy

Our data practices mirror the commitments in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• The MyPuja app collects only aggregated, non-identifying analytics to keep the experience stable. We can't produce individualized usage reports.
• The mypuja.app website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) cookies for traffic insights. The native app does not set cookies.
• If you contact support, we may request your account email or device details solely to troubleshoot. That information stays separate from analytics logs.
• You can delete the app at any time or request deletion of personal data you have provided (for example, support emails). Aggregated analytics already collected remain non-identifying.
• Optional donations on the site are processed by Stripe, who handles your payment details under their own terms and privacy policy.

Spiritual & Religious Content

MyPuja includes teachings from multiple spiritual traditions. Content is curated with respect and care, but:

• We make no claims about the religious accuracy or theological correctness of any teaching
• Quotes and teachings are shared as contemplative wisdom, not religious doctrine
• MyPuja is not affiliated with any religious organization
• You're responsible for your own spiritual practice and interpretation

Donations (Optional)

MyPuja is free. If you choose to make a voluntary donation to support the project:

• All donations are voluntary and non-refundable
• Donations do not unlock premium features or special access
• Your donations support ongoing development and server costs
• Donations are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor
• When you donate, you will be redirected to Stripe's secure payment page
• Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to your payment
• We receive only basic transaction information (amount, date) from Stripe—we do not see your full payment details

Disclaimers & Limitations

Not Medical Advice: MyPuja is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or spiritual counseling. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek professional help.

Apple Health: If you enable Apple Health integration, MyPuja will write Mindful Minutes data to your Health app. This is optional and can be disabled at any time. We do not read or access any other health data from your device.

Our Best Effort: We've built MyPuja with care and continue improving it. While we can't guarantee perfection, we're committed to making it the best it can be for your practice.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of MyPuja.

Updates & Changes

We may update MyPuja with new features, content, or bug fixes. We may also update these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You can stop using MyPuja at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
