What MyPuja Is

MyPuja is a personal puja and meditation app that provides:

• A customizable Photo Carousel for your images
• Curated quotes from multiple traditions
• Access to audio recordings such as meditations, talks, and music
• A meditation timer widget
• Music integration with Apple Music and Spotify (in development)
• Optional Apple Health integration to log Mindful Minutes
• Tools to organize your daily practice

MyPuja is a labor of love. We work hard to keep it running smoothly, though like any app, occasional hiccups may happen. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Your Use of MyPuja

You may use MyPuja for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any security features
• Redistribute or resell the app or its content
• Scrape or download content in bulk for commercial use

Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content: You own all photos, custom quotes, and personal content you add to MyPuja. We never access, view, or claim ownership of your content.

Our Content: The curated quotes, app design, and interface are owned by MyPuja or licensed from their respective copyright holders. All quotes are attributed to their original authors/teachers.

Meditations: Streamed meditations and teachings are sourced from publicly available recordings. We honor the tradition of making wisdom teachings freely accessible.

Data & Privacy

Our data practices mirror the commitments in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• The MyPuja app collects limited telemetry and diagnostics to keep the experience stable, including feature usage and pseudonymous technical data needed for reliability and abuse prevention, but not your private photos or custom quote text.
• The mypuja.app website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) cookies for traffic insights when consent is required. The native app does not set browser cookies.
• If you contact support, we may request your account email or device details solely to troubleshoot. That information stays separate from analytics logs.
• You can delete the app at any time or request deletion of personal data you have provided (for example, support emails). Historical analytics and operational logs may remain in aggregated or pseudonymous form for reliability and security records.
• Optional donations on the site are processed by Stripe, who handles your payment details under their own terms and privacy policy.

Religious & Devotional Content

MyPuja includes content from multiple traditions.

• We make no claims about theological correctness
• Quotes and recordings are shared for reflection
• MyPuja is not affiliated with any religious organization
• You are responsible for your own interpretation and practice

Donations (Optional)

MyPuja is free. If you choose to make a voluntary donation to support the project:

• All donations are voluntary and non-refundable
• Donations do not unlock premium features or special access
• Your donations support ongoing development and server costs
• Donations are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor
• When you donate, you will be redirected to Stripe's secure payment page
• Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to your payment
• We receive only basic transaction information (amount, date) from Stripe—we do not see your full payment details

Disclaimers & Limitations

Not Medical Advice: MyPuja is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or pastoral care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, seek professional help.

Apple Health: If you enable Apple Health integration, MyPuja will write Mindful Minutes data to your Health app. This is optional and can be disabled at any time. We do not read or access any other health data from your device.

Our Best Effort: We've built MyPuja with care and continue improving it. While we can't guarantee perfection, we're committed to making it the best it can be for your practice.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of MyPuja.

Updates & Changes

We may update MyPuja with new features, content, or bug fixes. We may also update these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You can stop using MyPuja at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
